蹂躙

Jyurin is the duo of Matt Richelson (Guitar and Electronics) and Shayne Bowden (Drums and Electronics). We have been jamming in the studio for a few months now with our first show planned for April 1st, fool. Originally the idea was to explore Japanese Free Jazz influenced sounds but we have been unconsciously gravitating towards more subtle musical styles closer to The Dirty Three, AMM and Japanese 'Onkyo'.
Up until now the project has relied on improvisation to find some grounding but we are working on introducing more orthodox structures for live performance. Thanks.

Matt Richelson (Guitar and Electronics)と、Shayne Bowden (Drums and Electronics)によるデュオ。スタジオに入り、ジャムセッションを繰り広げる中、日本のフリージャズに影響を受けたサウンドを探求していたが、気づかない内にもっと繊細で、 "The Dirty Three", "AMM",日本の"音響"と呼ばれるような音楽スタイルに引き寄せられていた。現在でも、このプロジェクトの核は即興音楽に根ざしているが、ライヴにおいては、もっと伝統的な楽曲構造をとりいれたパフォーマンスをおこなっている。
